Welcome to Southern Peninsula Concert Band
The Southern Peninsula Concert Band is a not-for-profit community band with a long, proud history of community service to the Mornington Peninsula. Our regular performances include Anzac Day Parades, Christmas Carol Concerts, Retirement Village Performances and Community Market Day appearances. We celebrated our 50th year in 2015!
The band rehearses every FRIDAY night,
except school holidays,
TIME: 8:00 to 10:00 pm
(with 15 minute break at 9:00 pm for Tea, Coffee and Biscuits)
The Band Hall is on the foreshore, next to the Sound Shell, Village Green Nepean Hwy. Rosebud (opposite Sixth Avenue)

Friday 17th November - Band Hall
Friday 24th November - Rosebud Primary School Hall
Friday 1st December - Rosebud Primary School Hall
Friday 8th December - No Rehearsal (Carols at the Village Glenn)
Friday 15th December - Band Hall (Final Rehearsal for 2017)

Friday 9th February - Band Hall (First rehearsal for 2018)

No auditions - All are welcome - Any standard!
(The band plays music from Grade 3 to about Grade 5)
If you play: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Electric Bass, Mallets (Tuned Percussion), Timpani and Drum Set - you are most welcome to come along.
We especially need at the moment:
Oboe, Bassoon, Baritone Saxophone and extra French Horns.
