Welcome to Southern Peninsula Concert Band

The Southern Peninsula Concert Band is a not-for-profit community band with a long, proud history of service to the Mornington Peninsula.

Our regular performances include Anzac Day Parades, Christmas Carol Concerts, Retirement Village Performances and Community Market Day appearances.  We are celebrating our 61st year in 2026!

The band rehearses every FRIDAY night, during Public School Terms.

TIME: 8:00 to 10:00 pm
(with 15 minute break at 9:00 pm for Tea, Coffee and Biscuits)

​The Band Hall is on the foreshore, next to the Sound Shell, Village Green, Nepean Hwy. Rosebud (opposite Sixth Avenue)

Players Wanted!

No auditions - All are welcome - Any standard!
(The band plays music from Grade 3 to about Grade 5)

If you play:  Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Electric Bass, Mallets (Tuned Percussion), Timpani - you are most welcome to come along.

Bring a chair or picnic rug for an outdoor event! There will be a basic BBQ from 6:30pm, preceding the Concert at 7:30pm. Rosebud - Meet at the corner of Point Nepean Road and 9th Avenue, Rosebud by 9am. Step off for the march is 9.30am. (Possible parking at Woolworths Carpark and walk to start) The service will be at the memorial clock near Jetty Road. Sorrento - Meet at the flag pole in the middle of Sorrento Village shops, Ocean Beach Road, Sorrento, at 11am for an 11.30am step off. The service will be at the cenotaph on the foreshore.

Rehearsals for 2026 will resume on Friday 6th February 2026 at 8pm. Rehearsals are held in the Band Hall on the Village Green at 980 Point Nepean Rd, Rosebud. Rehearsal goes until 10pm with a 15 min supper break at 9pm. Please arrive at 7.30pm to help set up, so that rehearsal begins promptly at 8pm. New players are always welcome.
