Welcome to Southern Peninsula Concert Band

The Southern Peninsula Concert Band is a not-for-profit community band with a long, proud history of service to the Mornington Peninsula.  Our regular performances include Anzac Day Parades, Christmas Carol Concerts, Retirement Village Performances and Community Market Day appearances.  We are celebrating our 57th year in 2022!

​Rehearsals

The band rehearses every FRIDAY night, 
except during school holidays,
Anyone Welcome!
TIME: 8:00 to 10:00 pm
(with 15 minute break at 9:00 pm for Tea, Coffee and Biscuits)
The Band Hall is on the foreshore, next to the Sound Shell, Village Green, Nepean Hwy. Rosebud (opposite Sixth Avenue)

Players Wanted!

No auditions - All are welcome - Any standard!
(The band plays music from Grade 3 to about Grade 5)

If you play: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Electric Bass, Mallets (Tuned Percussion), Timpani and Drum Set - you are most welcome to come along.

We especially need at the moment:
Oboe, Bassoon, Baritone Saxophone, Percussion, Trombone, Tuba, and extra French Horns.

Just contact someone from our contact page, or turn up with your instrument on a Friday night at our rehearsal venue.
