Welcome to Southern Peninsula Concert Band

The Southern Peninsula Concert Band is a not-for-profit community band with a long, proud history of service to the Mornington Peninsula.

Our regular performances include Anzac Day Parades, Christmas Carol Concerts, Retirement Village Performances and Community Market Day appearances.  We are celebrating our 61st year in 2026!

The band rehearses every FRIDAY night, during Public School Terms.

TIME: 8:00 to 10:00 pm
(with 15 minute break at 9:00 pm for Tea, Coffee and Biscuits)

​The Band Hall is on the foreshore, next to the Sound Shell, Village Green, Nepean Hwy. Rosebud (opposite Sixth Avenue)

Players Wanted!

No auditions - All are welcome - Any standard!
(The band plays music from Grade 3 to about Grade 5)

If you play:  Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Electric Bass, Mallets (Tuned Percussion), Timpani - you are most welcome to come along.

The Heart of the Community Market is held on 'the old Carnival site' on the Rosebud Foreshore at 996 Nepean Road, Rosebud. The market runs from 8am to 1pm on the second Saturday of each month. This was the Rosebud Community School Market. The concert band will perform between 10am and 12 noon on Saturday 12th December 2026, near the entrance to the carpark for the Sea Scouts hall. Please arrive by 9.00am to help set up.

Join us for a heartwarming celebration of yuletide joy, where the magic of music and the brilliance of Christmas stars unite to create an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Bring a chair or picnic rug for an outdoor event! There will be a basic BBQ from 6:30pm, preceding the Concert at 7:30pm.
